Samsung Foundry is rapidly gaining momentum in the AI semiconductor race.

Meta has reportedly selected Samsung’s 2nm process to manufacture its third-generation MTIA AI chips in a contract valued at approximately $6.5 billion, while Anthropic is exploring Samsung’s advanced manufacturing technology for its own custom AI accelerators. (Seeking Alpha)

The shift comes as TSMC’s leading-edge production capacity remains heavily committed, prompting major AI companies to diversify their supply chains while accelerating investments in proprietary silicon.
